Several hundred advocates for immigrants rights met at the triangle in downtown New Brunswick Monday morning to rally support for immigrant rights. Speakers from community groups, local activists and the American Civil Liberties Union called for fair immigration policy including legalization and amnesty.

After a march down George Street to a local church, the group took several vans to protest outside Congressman Michael Ferguson's office in Warren to denounce his support for the current immigration bill and many stayed for an educational session on immigrants' rights.
